Joanna's a walker!

I think we can officially declare Joanna a walker!

She has been taking tentative, unaided steps the last week or so after many weeks of toddling around with two fingers, one finger, and supporting herself on the wall (gotta love those fingerprints).

Yesterday she really focused and Eve and I had a great time encouraging her to walk across the room. Joanna would pop herself onto her feet and sometimes immediately fall flat onto her bum. So she'd pop up again and try to find her center of gravity. Once she was balanced she'd toddle 6 or 8 steps across the room to me. Then she'd start it all over again. We probably had the same amount of plopping down on the bum as sucessful walking across the room, but she's definitely got the hang of it.

When Daddy got home from work Joanna showed him her new trick. Oh she was proud of herself! Laughing and wiggling her little body. Daddy was proud of her, too.
