Latest Shopping Trip

This shopping trip cost $15.22. Here's the breakdown:



Special K $1.67 ($1/1 doubled) = FREE plus .33 overage
Corn Flakes $1.67 ($1 off produce attached to box) = $.67
Raisin Bran Extra $1.66 (2.50 mail-in rebate + .44 stamp) = FREE plus .40 overage

Lighthouse dressing $2.50 ($1/1 doubled) = .50
Wishbone dressing $1.67 (.75/1) = .88

Sandies $2.50 ( 2 $1/1 & $1.25 register rewards) = .25 each
Fudge Stripe cookies $2.50 ($1/2 & $1.25 register rewards) = .75 each

4# Bacon - $1.99 clearance for 2# package.
2# 2% milk sharp cheddar - $1.00 per 8 oz pack.
Philadelphia cream cheese = $1.25 ($1/2 doubled) = .25 each

Crest mouthwash $2.34 clearance ($1/1) = $1.34
St. Ive's lotion $2.24 clearance ($1.50/1) = .74
Care Bears BandAids $1.00 clearance ($1/1) = FREE

Bananas .69/lb - not the cheapest price, but worth the purchase because of the coupon on the box of cornflakes.

  3. Kelly, I usually shop at one or two stores per week depending on who has the best sales. This week it was Albertson's and Walgreen's. I'm not sure what it's equivalent is in Southern CA - maybe Kroger?
