Stone Soup

The girls and I read Stone Soup the other night and immediately set out to make some for dinner.

Jo and Daddy went and found three stones that we scrubbed like mad and put into the pot.
  
That soup needed some salt. Then it needed some celery so Eve worked on that part.


Next we added a little bit of meat, onions, and potatoes. Naomi peeled this one all by herself.


Here's the final product.


Lots of good stuff in here, too.


Joanna enjoys the soup with a straw.
 

I think it was a hit! After dinner this is what was left in the pot.
