Recently at lunch, I think 4-year-old Naomi was considering why parents existed. And she figured it out...
"Got made parents to protect the kids."
Katie recovered well, "God made kids to bless the parents."
We know that because Psalm 127:3 says, "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord." (NASB)
Verse 4-5: "Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;"
